The short answer
Print the correct file, arrange the pages in the order shown by the pattern, trim the tile edges and join the matching lines before placing the pattern on fabric.
A reliable assembly routine
Use a flat, clean surface and work from the first tile to the last. Keep the page numbers visible until the layout is complete.
- Trim only where the guide indicates.
- Match row and column markers before taping or pinning.
- Check the scale and orientation after joining.
- Recalculate the cutting layout after assembly.
Avoid common assembly errors
The most common problems are wrong paper size, accidental scaling, flipped pages and joining the wrong edge. If the result looks distorted, return to the original PDF instead of compensating by stretching the paper.
